Jane Davidson
Jane works as a resident doctor and is undertaking paediatric training. She completed her medical training at the University of Newcastle. She also has a Bachelor of Music from The University of Queensland.

When Jane isn't working or singing, she loves bushwalking, especially in Lamington National Park. She is also learning French and hopes to return to France un jour bientôt.

Jane's love of choral music started when she was an alto in the choirs and vocal group at Graceville State School with Phil Luke, and hasn't stopped. She later went back to GSS to conduct the choirs for 3 years along with Phil Luke. She sang in choirs at secondary school and at UQ including the Chamber Singers (Guy Jansen) and Concentus (Ed Bolkovac). During her 5 years in Newcastle, Jane was a member of the Christchurch Cathedral Choir with Philip Matthias where her sight-singing skills improved exponentially as a result of singing two different service settings every Sunday with minimal but efficient rehearsal. Upon returning to Brisbane, Jane joined the Brisbane Chamber Choir towards the end of 2005..

Yvette Friend
Yvette is a recorder player and teacher as well as a teacher of music theory. She teaches at St Peter's Lutheran College and also from her home studio where she is assisted by her cat, Chubberley. She studied recorder and musicology at The University of Queensland and in 1992 graduated with a Bachelor of Music with First Class Honours and was awarded a University Medal.

In her spare time she collects stuffed animal toys and writes silly songs about them.

Yvette has been in the Brisbane Chamber Choir since 2005.

Natasha Kalous
Oboist Natasha Kalous graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium of Music with a Bachelor of Music Degree with First Class Honours, and Post Graduate Diploma in Performance. She then furthered her studies at the Prague Academy of Performing Arts, Czech Republic, under Professor Jiri Mihule, then principal oboist of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra.

Apart from music, Natasha does not ever seem to have much time for other interests, though she does enjoy the odd game of tennis. Otherwise she enjoys watching films, eating delicious food, reading Thomas Hardy novels, improving her knowledge of the Czech language and learning more about European history.

Natasha performs with the Queensland Pops Orchestra, the Sinfonia of St Andrew's and the Northern Rivers Symphony Orchestra. As well as being a member of the Brisbane Chamber Choir, she also enjoys singing with the St John's Cathedral Choir, and has been the Musical Director of the Redcliffe City Choir since 1999. Natasha teaches oboe at All Hallows' School, Brisbane Grammar School, St Aidan's AGS, Villanova College, Wavell State High School and Padua College, where she has about 30 students, and also teaches piano privately. In her spare time Natasha enjoys making oboe reeds for all of her students, being the secretary of the Queensland Double Reed Society and is looking forward to learning the bassoon when she retires.

Kathryn Morton
Kathryn Morton has recently completed a Bachelor of Arts (double major in Music) at the University of Queensland. She is currently taking some time off from studying but hopes to return to university next year, either studying Arts Administration or Speech Pathology - specialising in vocal problems that occur in singers and teachers.

Music plays an important part in Kathryn's life leaving little time for other pursuits, however she can often be found either in the kitchen experimenting with various ingredients or in her bedroom (her dog by her side) reading.

Kathryn has sung in choirs all her life - but notably she has sung with St Peters Chorale, The Lucian Singers, the Brisbane Chamber Choir, NYCA, and the St Stephen's Cathedral Schola. Kathryn has been a member of the Chamber choir since 2000.

John Nolan
John is currently developing his natural creative spark by studying a Bachelor of Creative Industries. He has a natural flair for taking the seemingly common and turning it into spectacular imagery. He also performs chair and music filing logistics duties at St. Stephen's Cathedral in his spare time.

Apart from singing and generally being fabulous, John enjoys watching James Bond and Die Hard movies. He plans to feature in and direct his own Die Hard film in the near future - "Die Even More Harder". He is also completely enthralled with the drama of Footballer’s Wives.

John has sung in many choirs across the Brisbane choral landscape, including St Stephen's Cathedral Choir and Schola, the Brisbane Chorale, the Imogen Children's Chorale and the National Youth Choir of Australia. John joined the Brisbane Chamber Choir in 2006 and is the creative talent behind the choir’s promotional material.
